STOP!

My office is next door to a dental surgery. They have had a notice on the door for a week or so about corvid-19 but since yesterday they added this sign, which is quite rightly impossible to ignore. It coincides with what feels like a noticable ramping up, now we are in delay.

So many events are being cancelled and it feels like things are coming together, emails from tesco about deliveries while isolating, details from talk talk with tips to stay online while isolating, pre-eschool enforcing a really good hand washing regime.

I hesitate slightly about our approach in the UK being different to most if Europe but I do thing CMO Chris Whittey has been excellent and I feel we can trust his approach. Also people and companies on the whole seem to be takings things seriously and really making changes now. I feel it is the right response so far.

I contacted the local GP surgery and have added my name to a list of people available to help the vunerable if needed, they are thinking how to coordinate this. I guess there has to be safety considerations too. I think I would feel better about it if I feel like I am doing something to help as opposed to just worrying.
