Eggs

Today I took my kit telephoto lens to shoot a closer look of the eggs beside the trail around Gilbert Run. I think they might belong to the blue heron that hangs out in the beaver dam. The eggs are too big for ducks and the geese don't hang out in this part of the lake. It is odd to see a nest so close to a very well used boardwalk. In the same beaver dam there is a huge colony of frogs.  They pop out of the water and are very loud. I caught one of them beside the trail (extra.)
