Hellebores
After a few days of staying home, I was chomping at the bit to get out of the house for a little while. Fortunately, social distancing still allows excursions into the outdoors and nature, which is what will help me keep my sanity during these stressful times. Today, a trip to the local botanical gardens was very therapeutic.
My husband, who goes to the gym 5 times a week, came home abruptly on Weds after witnessing some appalling unsanitary behavior by one of the other members and he has said he won't go back until this is over. It's moot now as the gym has since been closed because of the virus threat. We fully expect just about everything to close down over the next week or two, in an effort to "dampen the curve" of this coronavirus outbreak.
Yesterday was our wedding anniversary, which over the 37 years, we have always celebrated at a very nice restaurant. This year, dinner was provided by Uber Eats.
Stay safe, keep your distance, wash your hands frequently, avoid touching your face. and be prepared to stay home, since there will be nowhere to go anyway. That's all we can do. The uncertainty of how long this will endure and how bad it will be is quite unnerving. I am grateful that photography is a solitary activity.
