Cairo Sky

I was only expecting to see the Cairo sky from the window of a taxi, which would bring me directly from the airport to Rafah crossing so I could re-enter Gaza.

Unfortunately, I did not receive coordination from the Egyptian authorities to cross the border into Gaza, so I need to stay in Cairo until my coordination (hopefully) comes through.

Luckily, my beautiful schoolfriend, Nivene, is happy to put me up once more, and indefinitely at that! Nivene has such a big heart and, although I desperately want to get back to Gaza, it is nice to spend some quality time with her, her son Yaseen, and her sister Amira.
