A gift from the sea

Last day in Gokarna. A Russian lady staying in our guesthouse found this stone carving in the sea/rocks when she was going to Rama temple to get water. She was trying to lift it out and couldn't. A young man (also Russisn) came to help her and then carried it back to the guesthouse for her. He spent an hour cleaning it. It became the main topic of conversation for the morning, a welcome change.
Otherwise, here foreigners are trying to figure out what to do as mire and more flights are cancelled and travel is restricted between states.
We take a night bus to Bangalore.
