Yanchep

We can only stay indoors for so long, by 2pm we had to get out for some fresh air.
Storms were forecast for today, but we barely felt a breath of wind and didn't have a drop of rain, we decided to drive to Yanchep national park, where walked a 1.5klm bush track through the limestone gorge, we didn't pass a soul, it was eerily quiet through the gorge, except for the black cockatoos screeching now and then as they flew over to perch in the tall eucalyptus trees surrounding us, we passed a few caves that had been uncovered years ago, the indigenous people used to camp in these caves long before the Park was established.
We couldn't leave the park without popping into the Koala enclosure, this little guy was just checking out who was out there.
Extra pics of the cave and bushland around the gorge.
The breath of fresh air did us the world of good!
