Nuthatch

We have colds so we are staying home as per guidance.  They are your regular winter colds so they are not stopping us doing anything but it has meant we have had to cancel several things.  So, we didn't go to parkrun this morning and we won't be going to the Compass Sport Cup heat tomorrow or the British Champs next weekend (although that may well be cancelled).  On Monday I must remember to ring the Dentist to postpone our check-ups.

On the plus side, we have a very quiet woodland and route up to the Moor at the end of the street so we can get out for a walk without bumping in to anyone!

I think there may be quite a few bird blips (and jigsaws!) over the coming weeks.

Positive news
I heard on the radio this morning that Italian musicians have formed a WhatsApp group.  They contact each other and arrange to play music from their balconies for the benefit of local folks who are socially isolating.  It made me think of that wonderful scene in The Shawshank Redemption (my favourite film of all time) when Tim Robbins locks the warden out of his own office and plays The Marriage of Figaro to the prisoners, classic!  Be safe and well out there folks.
