Squirrel Blip Friday .....
.... just a squirrel.
I'm trying not to panic about the coronavirus but with the governor of Pennsylvania shutting down all the k-12 schools the levity of the situation is starting to sink in.
That said .... I wanted to get some more groceries as yesterday I only did a quick shop. So ... early this morning I went to another grocery store to buy some meat just in case we have to self-quarantine for two weeks or more. I was quite shocked to see empty meat cases ... I really hadn't expected that. I knew everyone seems to be buying up toilet paper, disinfecting wipes and paper towels but I hadn't realized that meat was also being bought up. I left the store with mostly cat food for Cheddar. He may be eating better than we will be soon.
But .... it was Richard to the rescue as he called me in the afternoon to let me know he was at Costco and purchased some ground beef (which is what I was looking for at Wegmans), steaks and peanuts for the squirrels! Got to keep them happy ... especially now that they may end up having to be blipped more often if we can't get out.
I had set up a prop that didn't quite work out as I had planned .... I will try again tomorrow. The squirrels were a little afraid of the prop when they jumped onto the feeding table and found it there .... as you can see by the surprised look on this squirrel.
Now that it's lighter later in the day R and I are able to take our walk after supper .... so lovely! Even though it was windy we took a quick walk at Housenick Park. It's a great way to wrap up the day.
