Plenty of sunbeds

....... but none are available for hire.
Yesterday you could hire a sunbed and parasol on the beach. Today however, the Spanish authorities have banned their use in response to the Coronavirus crisis. They are all stacked up and tied together so they can't be used. I'm not sure how effective a measure that is, seeing as all the bars and restaurants here are still open. 
We have just heard that our travel company (Jet2) have today cancelled all holidays to mainland Spain and the Canaries where we are. They even turned round a few flights from the UK this morning and are bringing no more tourists here for the time being. Fortunately, they have informed us that our return flight tomorrow will happen as scheduled. Presumably they will fly the empty planes out here to collect us.
A lot has changed in the last few days and it seems that we will be returning to a more sombre UK.
