Rescue Me! (SiLS180)
Edit: Please see the note re our Bourton on the Water blipmeet set for next week. We are asking for you views on postponement in view of the current virus issues.
We were at the Farmer's Market in the village this morning when Gill got talking to someone about a garden centre in Banbury - thinking an afternoon away from the news might be a good idea I had not considered the wet early spring would mean the rescue plant section would be overflowing ... silly me!
Gill decided that she would do her bit for the economy by buying a trolley full, this is nowhere near all of them :-)
In other news: our son is now working from home for the next two weeks - although as he writes the mathematical models for civil engineering software I don't suppose that will slow him down much. Stuart has just recovered from normal seasonal flu and was probably looking forward to seeing his colleagues again! His trip to Valencia at the end of the month looks to be a non-starter.
Our son in law has been at home for a couple of days with our grand daughter, who is recovering from tonsillitis, he picked some of it up and now has man-flu and so has to self isolate for a week. Tim is a teacher so I don't suppose his form, GCSE mathematics or A Level economics classes will be too pleased on Monday when they are told. Rachel, our daughter, is a GP and does a lot with care of the elderly so she is having to be super careful about avoiding both of them. We may be in for a difficult few weeks!
