Bath

Up quite smartly this morning to catch the train to Bath. We were booked for a few hours at the Thermae Spa which included a swim in the heated outdoor rooftop pool and a very relaxing massage. Unfortunately photography isn't allowed or I could have blipped the chimney and rooftops of Bath from the pool.

When all that excitement was over we had a wander round the streets and over the famous Pulteney Bridge. Here is the bridge, the Art Gallery and the Pulteney Weir.

Train back to Bristol after a few pit stops for refuelling. Quick turn round now as we're eating out tonight. It feels as if we are just waiting for things to close. Bath is usually crowded but not today. I'm so glad we didn't postpone. Some arrangements for later in the year have been postponed and events at home this weekend are off. Strange days indeed.
