Enough!

I've had my money's worth from this bunch of tulips, at least three weeks of gradual fading and flopping, but now the shrivelled petals are dropping and it's time to say goodbye.

I have a fine bunch of pink roses to take centre stage now - the ones that were delivered here instead of to my friend on her birthday. I will take her some in person next week, if we're not all under lock-down by then.

TM will be home tonight. I hope he's not bringing any of the little nasties - the virus, I mean, not the grandchildren. There's a shot of him with them this morning in the extras. Close contact has definitely occurred.
