Lone tree, Ullswater

A quiet day, just recovering from my hectic trip up to The Highlands. Had a lie-in and then popped to Penrith to get a bit of food in. The place was very busy.

Escaped down to Ullswater and went for a coffee and stroll along the lakeshore where I took this. Blip.

Dozed for most of the afternoon before watching a The Detectives DVD. Trying to muster up enthusiasm to go across to the bar for a couple of beers but it’s raining and blowing a gale at the moment.
