Ready To Go!

I’ve become a ‘news junkie’ in the last several days! It’s very unlike me. I’m fascinated by the science of everything related to the Coronavirus. And it causes me to pray for the scientists, the doctors and all the medical people, those who can’t work from home, and mostly for the vulnerable and those who care for them. There are some very sad stories. We need to look out for the vulnerable and isolated.

I finally turned off the TV and spent much of the day working on my decluttering project. I found two of these masks in the garage! I’m sure they’re not medical-grade, but I may be happy to have them at some point. I could have used them last week when I was coughing myself. I’m feeling much better, if not yet 100%.

The rest of the afternoon was spent watching the Downton Abbey movie. I’d seen it in the cinema but I think I enjoyed it even more the second time. It was partially filmed in Lacock, Wiltshire and I just happened to visit there during the filming so it was fun to see the scenes that I saw being filmed (from a distance). I can highly recommend getting engrossed in a movie these days. I think we all need a distraction!
