Foresters at work

Yesterday's blip showed the brown hillside where a forest has vanished. Today's shows the work of removing the trees from a devastated forest. As we walked up the muddy track behind Dunoon, we could hear the clanking of machinery up ahead, and this precarious-looking vehicle was the cause of it. I was amazed at the skill that kept this huge tractor-trailer-crane ensemble not only upright but able to lift and stash logs on the slope of the hill.
