Sunshine and shadow

The glass roof of Waverley Station really is a beautiful thing, particularly when the sun shines.

Caught this image as I waited for a train to Glasgow. I was heading off to celebrate my sister-in-law's 40th birthday. My brother had organised a surprise party and, remarkably, had managed to keep it a secret from my sister-in-law, right up until the moment she stepped into the village hall. All in all, a lovely surprise and a birthday suitably celebrated (with plenty of hand washing and far fewer hugs than normal!)
