Accelerating

Well, everything seems to be progressing. I went shopping first thing this morning for essential supplies. There was a queue of about 50 people waiting for the supermarket to open, with dozens more arriving as I did.

Although it was crowded and a bit chaotic, as lots of people like me didn’t know what was where, it was all very civilised and good humoured. I saw no evidence of panic buying as such . The staff were helpful and the service swift. Let us hope all that continues.

We were to attend a concert in Manchester this afternoon but thought better of it. Who knows when our next opportunity will arise? Tickets arrived yesterday for one in late April.
