Fume tube

This ornate sewer ventilator is preserved in the heart of Fisherrow. We saw it on our sunny but wind-chilled walk this morning. Fresh air and low tide meant ample space to exercise responsibly in the current climate of heightened anxiety. Good to have FaceTime virus free contact with our Gloucestershire family. I read, with increasing empathy, of all those I know locked down in mainland Europe and our thoughts are with you all.
