Troubled times

I went for a run. I keep thinking I have to before I cannot. My 72 year old mam is in the south of Spain until the end of April. She's about to be put into lockdown. Good. She's safer there than here. 
I've done some maths based on what the government appear to be saying.
It seems they've accepted that 200K to 500K will die. The old and the vulnerable are expendable? Christ, how did we get here?!
I've started flight watches for later in the year for California. I miss K, and even though I haven't cancelled 29/04 yet I know in my heart of hearts it will come to that.
