Emergency blip!

We're just into the car for the last leg of the journey home and today's blip is just out the windscreen. It's been something of a nightmare journey and we missed the flight home. The journey started well, but went very quickly downhill when we discovered that the A14 was closed from junction 23 - 31, without any diversion in place. A drive to Stansted airport from our friends' house would usually take just a little over an hour, today it took just over 3!!! We arrived at Stansted about 15 minutes after our gate closed so we had to rebook flights at extra cost of course! I had tried to phone the call centre to say we were having problems - but I gave up after 53 minutes on hold, when we arrived at the airport.
We are very happy to be home and we did have a great trip - until 12:15 today!
