War

After yesterdays day of excitement we caught a relatively early train back South. I had a massive (special offer) wine order to collect so took the car to the supermarket to get that, bulk buying hot cross buns on the way out. .

We had some very nice wine to finish off the weekend, before what is looking like a (number of) very stressful week(s) ahead. Both being part of the leadership team, working in IT for a big retailer, we are in full 'war footing' from now on. As well as day jobs, we both have teams of people to support and can both be asked to stand up/in for a number of others at no notice. We're also on a WaH rule from Tuesday which is going to make things even harder.

It looks as though both girls' uni's are sending them home early for Easter too, hopefully short lived and they can go back in May as planned.
