A Special Day Of Prayer

Bro. Steve set aside his planned sermon for today so that our church body could focus on praying for specific areas of need in our nation and in our world right now.  He and four of our deacons read specially chosen verses, spoke about the verses in the light of our current circumstances and then led the congregation in prayer related to the verses.  It was a very different type of service, that reminded us of what we should already be doing as Christ-followers in a difficult time.  And those of us in the traditional music service had the added blessing of hearing Mark sing another beautiful song.....
