Sweet Peas

Thank you so much for your generosity with my blip from yesterday, it really was an unreal moment.
The garden is looking rather bedraggled and in need of a good rain.  But on a positive note there is still some colour, with a few roses flowering and the sweet peas still pretty.  I took this from a distance, and against the darker conifer giving the darker background.
Covid-19 continues to put major restrictions to all.  So many "gatherings" here are now postponed or cancelled. Our national carrier AirNZ has slashed 85% of their long haul flights and 30% of domestic.  
Our Wellington family were booked to fly to Buenos Aires in July with AirNZ, that is now up in the air, any rate I've just read they have closed their borders in the meantime.  Our twelve year old grandson Harry (their son) was selected to play in a football tournament over there....he will be so disappointed as we all are.
