The benefits of being a cat

COVID-19 is going to kill some of us; we're ruled by not-so-crypto-fascist clowns; there's going to be a catastrophic recession; global warming is going to kill most of our children and grandchildren.  Our world is ending: not today, not this year, but it is ending.

But it's spring, there is a garden, and cats will bask in the sun because they don't have to worry about any of this.  The humans will bring food, there are backup humans in case the main humans fail.  If all else fails the humans are edible.  The sun will shine, it will rain, other cats will be interesting.
