OPEN GATE

Such a lovely day weather wise, just the sort of day I really wanted to be up The Lakes with the camera.  However I am going nowhere for the foreseeable future. 

I did walk on up to our main road, Allithwaite Road,  To take a couple of photos, this being one of them.  Only said hello to 3 people but plenty of activity going on.

It turns out that I did the right thing on cancelling celebrations on Saturday because two people have tested positive in the little village where we were going.

Sister-in-Law is now in Semi-Lockdown in Madeira, which is worrying.  She's fine at the moment and still hopes to get her flight home on Friday.  We didn't want her to go but she insisted, that was two weeks ago of course and it has changed beyond recognition in that time.

I do wish the government would quarantine everyone that comes into the country for 2 weeks and test them, allowing people to just use public transport and go through customs etc is definitely not helping the situation.  There I've said it - that's how I feel.  

At the moment I'm planning on bringing Mum over here for Mother's Day but that may change depending on circumstances.
