Watch and learn

My daughter Devon does not like being a subject for me to point my camera at but she puts up with it. Portraiture is not one of my strong points but I aim to improve. I tried getting the closest eye in focus but I seem to stuggle with the manual focus on the 50mm lens and as you can see I failed but at least I have plenty of time to improve. Devon was at least distracted by the television, she was watching "Got to dance" and probably getting herself psyced up in readiness for the Street dance competition that she is taking part in at the weekend in Blackpool, yes a great photo opportunity but alas I am not going I am staying behind with the three boys.
