A Sign of Spring

Mid March and at last the first sign of Spring.
The buds on this plant were so small that I needed the tripod to hold the camera steady enough. Or maybe it's just my advancing years !
I do like photographing the details to be found in nature.
There is so much color and textures in even the smallest buds.
I have cropped the photograph to show the detail of the bud.
