A little ray of colour

Each day as I walk in and out of the office, I think how pretty the flowers are each side of the path... and today was no exception as I popped out to come home for a sandwich at lunch time. The flowers really do cheer me up.  And I think we all need a bit of low-level appreciation of the small things in life right now! 

I've spent the entire evening working as the day was pretty much corona'd with dealing with various things to do with that.  So 'normal' work has carried on this evening (cleared the emails by 9.30...).  Calling it a day as it's approaching 11pm and that is officially past my bed time! 

On the bright side, Granny road-tested video-calling at dinner time - it worked just great and the boys loved it.  I've also had the youngest fast asleep in a sleeping bag beside my chair as I've worked, he decided to come and sleep next to me, having done the same to daddy last night when he spent the evening working.

The husband is en-route home from work having been told to work from home for the foreseeable future....

Right... time to sort the laundry and wash up after dinner - and get to bed!
