Doroba Farm
This is the Doroba Do-operative, Commercial, Model farm run by 16 women and 6 men. We facilitated the purchase of 22 acres of land early last year and by the year end about 25% of the loan had been paid off.
This shown lemon seedlings, soon to be brought to the greenhouses in Lusangazi, before the cold season.

Hi John
Today I cycled to Doloba to see what they are doing. It's an amazing farm,
they make three portion of maize (10 by 10 metres) with three type
manure for Demostration. Now they started sowing soya for livestock
feeding in future.
Problems they working without taking food on lunch time. (Need maize
for lunch) and materials like hoes and slashers.
They told me that am supposed to be in Doroba twice in a week (Is it true).
Thanks
Robert

Thanks Robert,
Ring and ask then do they need a loan for food and for slashers. If so we can do it.
We will just add it to their current loan
There is no requirement for you to go to Doroba at all and there was no agreement for you to do so.
We paid them for 3000 lemon seedlings, have we collected them?. We could take some of their people (women?) to the farm to learn about budding if they need to. Maybe they could grow some mango and other seedlings for us as well, next season, It would mean our staff could concentrate on seed production
Have they done any buildings yet?
Did you learn or teach anything or both on your visit?
