Whirlwind

It’s all about contingency planning and rapid action now. Lots of emergency meetings and calls whilst existing commitments and plans cascade out of the diary for the next few weeks.
Some very useful and enlightening conversations with people albeit online, and a swift dash home to take a delivery in and check with the builders who have installed the final thing...a socket for my kettle in my preferred location.
Surprise catch up with R who was chirpier than for a while then dashed down to book group. None of us (a first,) enjoyed the book ‘Milkman’ but we weren’t short of discussion topics given the rapidly changing anti-virus situation. Will this be our last meet up for a few months? Whilst I’m spending all day thinking through the work implications it seems very different to contemplate the scale of the likely social/everyday life changes ......crikey.
