Fairy Garden

I didn’t realise this garden existed until I noticed children stopping to gaze at this tiny world. It’s on the edge of the footpath on a busy shopping street. By a small miracle it’s survived late night revellers from nearby pubs, curious dogs and adults in general. Trying to find out how long it’s been here, I discovered that fairy gardens can be bought ready-made. I like that this one is hand-made and changes organically as people replace toys and add extra flourishes.
