Merle
Under gray skies the polo field offered lots of wide open space with a handful of walkers, a couple of families playing on the grass, a few dogs, herons flying overhead, redwing blackbirds and robins in the shrubs near the river, and these two exercising in one of the rings.
The rider reminded me of Merle Haggard, thus the title for today's blip. The horse has one blue eye (not seen here). Apparently he was isolated for several years so this, his new owner, had to work with him a lot and it was not without injuries. Now they work together as a real team ("he's a good boy "), but the owner still uses spurs occasionally.
A Horse Called Music (Willie and Merle) but a better version by Randy Travis here.

Hope all of you are well
