Spooner's Lookout

Just along the track from Echo Point is a secluded lookout that few people find. It offers views of a lush green Jamison Valley that are just a teensy bit different from those usually depicted. Yep. The image looks way better with a dark background in LARGE.

With tourist figures way below normal, it is possible to roam the mountain tracks without encountering hordes of virus breathing people. Pity though. Despite all the fire and such, the autumn light is lovely and the mountain vistas look splendid. It'd normally be a great time for visitors.

I have been driving through burned out areas. With all the rain we've had it is truly amazing how many green shoots and fresh forest growth can be seen. I hope to bring you some meaningful pictures soon.
