Just One Of Many

With 10 acres of the lambs’ cabbage feed crop over the fence (see yesterday) these butterflies seem to fill the air. I have few cabbage-type plants in my garden because of them. They come looking for nectar, competing with the bees. Only rarely do I see a different species of butterfly.

A cold morning. My car windscreen was frozen. It won’t be good for the beans, which have just started to produce at last.
