Hydro walk way
A big walk into the bush this morning, actually once part of a hydro generating station and an amazing feat of engineering. Apart from being lush and exotic, and pretty high, it was full of birds. We saw fantails, robins and weka and heard bellbirds and tui. Later we saw a kingfisher, falcon and two plovers plus lots of pukeko.
An afternoon pottering then Esme home from playgroup so fun and games.
More cases of the virus in NZ today and goodness knows when we might get home. So worrying how jobs are going to be effected and rents be and mortgages paid. Worrying on every level really.
