Heart of a magnolia flower

Almost all flowers of the magnolia tree are open now and it's great to be able to have a closer look inside.

I'm not really able to keep still and concentrate at the moment, we have major worries now that all borders seem to close and flights are reduced to a minimum. Our eldest son and his Japanese girlfriend in Singapore are expecting a baby later this summer and need to come over here, as they won't be able to get a visa to stay in Singapore for the baby after it's born. Obviously they have work and other obligations and couldn't just depart before and they're now in this really weird and complicated situation where it is really difficult to know what is still possible and what isn't. Won't tire you all with all the complications,  but this is what occupies my mind from daybreak to night time :-(
