Lockdown

Today has been quite something. We've had the most incredible storms and rain and hail these past two days. There has been a lot of flooding in the city and refugee camps, our road was a river and we have rain coming into our house in various places.
At midnight we start a strict lockdown across all of Kurdistan. We're not allowed out of our houses for at least 5 days. Hopefully they'll let us out to buy food at some point! This was my last chai and pastries for a while with an old neighbour today.

Late last night during the storm a neighbour came to the gate and gave us a hedgehog! I don't want a hedgehog!
