The Corona Diaries, day #3
A much calmer day today.
Everyone else is able to sleep in now, but I'm still working so I was up at around sunrise. Looked out the landing window to see pretty thick fog and flashing lights... turned out just to be the binmen :-D
No drama today!
Had a quiet walk around the garden then settled down in front of the computer. Still less focused than usual but we'll all settle into it soon, I expect. I'm used to working from home after all these years, but not quite in this atmosphere.
Later on, a walk into the village for some bread - ID and signed paper en poche! It's so calm but also nice - everyone says hello or stops to talk (at a distance!). People have a bit more time for one another.
Once the fog had cleared, it was a beautiful spring day so the grass got its first cut of the year. Will be great if we can get ahead with the garden over the next few weeks - a confinement bonus there, at least!
General mood here at home - fine. Weird but fine!
