The elusive earthenware merchant

I have noticed this sign on my wanderings around Edinburgh today, I like old shop signs, so I collected it as a potential blip and then I walked round the corner and the shop advertised on the wall still exists!

I tried to find some information about it, but google found nothing but business listings and the shop only seems to be open for a couple of hours a day, two or three days a week, intriguing...

I missed blipping yesterday because I was having a most unpleasant evening, I thought I finally caught the infamous norovirus but luckily it was not. Back blip for yesterday is here. Worth a look if you like Jaffa.
