Had to break it to E that he birthday party is totally cancelled. There was tears all round. However:

1: my friends and I have been reaching out and it’s lovely

2: E cheered up and we are going to do unicorn fairy cakes for her class on her birthday Friday

3: mum is ok and her op is postponed as she has been reacting well to chemo.
