Ramblings and Mutterings

Everyone

Today I looked through an upstairs window.  Drizzle and mizzle was the same as yesterday, but a bit fresher ;)

Work was good, I learnt a few new things and I carried out an interview view video conferencing, not ideal but it worked.  I'm getting a master at this virtual working, I wonder if I can do it for the rest of my career?  Lol!

Being serious for a minute, this coronavirus is going to effect us all, whether that be you individually or a family member or a friend.  For some it will be fine, they'll get through, for those like me it could be far worse.  We all have a duty to look after ourselves but also support our fellow human, don't be selfish!  Make sure your hygiene is at the level required, make sure you are carrying out social distancing and whatever you do, don't panic buy and deny those who are really vulnerable or key workers struggling to keep themselves nourished.  We're all in this together!

Even on my twitter timeline people are starting to show symptoms and are having to isolate for 14 days, people are affected by the closures in work and schools.  Every day I make sure I check in with all of my friends across the UK, you were/are there for me.

Oh and while I'm at it, big shout out to anyone working in the NHS, you are totally incredible!  And also a big shout out to the shop workers, the delivery drivers and everyone working to keep essential services going.  We all owe you so much!

Today I am thankful for:

1.  A friend helping me out and allowing me to pick the right Mother's Day card for Sunday.  She was brilliant!
2.  Checking in with my friends across the UK and showing them support.
3.  A productive day in work, learning new things.
