With good weather forecast and the prospect of travel restrictions looming (or even a lockdown) it seemed like a good idea to go to Arnside. Hundreds of others had the same plan.

We eventually got parked, had a short wander and enjoyed fish and chips from Arnside Chippy.

As we drove out of Ambleside a lake cruiser was leaving the pier. The top deck was packed. Seems that no-one was bothered about social distancing.
