March Gorse

When I walked out onto the cliff path this afternoon I was treated to the vibrance of both gorse and hawthorn bushes. The sunshine over the last few days has brought so many things into bloom out on the south coast. Gorse in extras :)

The Guernsey schools have decided to close tomorrow after saying there was no need. 
I think that as the deadline to come back to the island without self isolation of 14 days was midnight last night. 
The few days before saw a scramble of people trying to get back from schools and colleges in other places. Now the health department is overwhelmed with people who need to be tested.
There is one confirmed case and it seems many now suspected of having the virus. 
Miss T is very sad that she is not going to be able to do her GCSE exams. But, this is a challenge over which we have no control. We must accept things as they are and make the best of it.
