Heading outside!!

A dry day, so I started with a few jobs indoors before heading outside. Plenty of tidying up before helping B to carry the new box outside and starting to fill it.

Our garden is now planned round Ambers activities. There was an old bush in the space that the box now occupies. There was no point in trying to plant a young tree in its place as it would have been trashed. So a box it is!! There is some soil in it and the potato planters and a trug, so that we establish from the outset that this is not a ‘sand pit’ for playing in !!!! There is a run up the side and round the back so that she can go ‘hunting’!!!

The fish man delivered an order this morning and we worked out a leaving place if required in future. The post man had a small package and some letters for us. He rang the bell and I found the items on the door step, he was standing about 2-3 metres away. He said that this is what he is required to do.

This was a more satisfying day than yesterday.
