FareShare

FareShare is the UK’s largest food redistribution charity. I didn’t know about them until earlier this week when I saw them featured on a BBC regional news story about COVID-19 and the coronavirus. After further investigation and giving the matter some thought, I decided to apply on my laptop for a voluntary role at their nearby warehouse, picking and packing food to go to those in need. If I’m accepted, it’ll be 4 hours per week, but could rise to 8 hours if I enjoy the work enough.
