I'm with David Hockney who has painted some daffs against a gloomy background whilst in lockdown in Normandy and captioned it with the above. 

Tomorrow is the first day of spring and I spent some time this morning photographing a pair of chiffchaffs amongst the spring blossom on the bank of our neighbour's lake.
