Empty Studio
Usually buzzing with conversation and creative brainwaves being zapped around, our studio is now... empty. Today there were 4 of us, tomorrow there will be 2. It's super-strange (like everything else currently). On the bright side we did some video calls (on Teams, which worked really well) with our guys who are home-working and with some of our clients. It was uplifting to actually see and chat to them, and be reminded we are all in the same boat whether you are in UK, New York or LA (and everywhere else too!). We did have a hilarious moment when two ladies in LA got photo-bombed by their young children in the middle of the meeting. It was funny and heart-warming.
Thank you for your kind comments the past two days. We really want our elder daughter and her b/f to come home for the duration but to make it possible we need to temporarily foster out Zara, as she and Tia are incompatible. I am hoping we can find someone in our community who would enjoy some doggy company for a while. Something I wouldn't ordinarily even consider, but with people being stuck at home, maybe its possible. She won't mind if she gets love and treats, and we can still walk her!
Taking it a day at a time, as we all are, what will be will be, but I would feel so much better if we could all be together.
