More challenges...

The Buncle came home with his leavers hoodie yesterday...he shouldn’t really leave school until 23rd of April, but the arrival of this home signalled for me the next stage of covid19 measures...

...and sure enough confirmation came later in the day that neither he nor anyone else is likely to be in school on 23rd April or for a while after that either.

The schools are closing on Friday:-/

He went off today wearing it. But his prom is cancelled and the high jinx of the last day is cancelled.

Wee fella finishes Primary School this year too so that’s all his rites of passage cancelled too:-(

I’m a wee bit sad about all this...trying to keep it in perspective there’s bigger issues and challenges at stake...but still it is a bitty sad.

Grateful that he got his hoodie.
