2020 Monday — Gorgeous Day

“Quarantined Monday” was a very beautiful day. We are glad to be here at the coast where there is a much smaller population and a much bigger view. This photo was taken at about 5:00 this afternoon.

Throughout this day the horizon, or portions of it, has vanished for moments and our windows gloss with liquid as the rain washes the glass.

Then the clouds become white as snow and as puffy as popcorn and on that same horizon in the opposite direction clouds are dark as smoke. Mr. Fun & I have quarantined ourselves in this little house, that’s more like a theater as we watch the weather, and we’re amused at the slowness of time when we “still” the going.

The Brown Butter Cookie Company here in Cayucos announced on their social media pages today that they are closing all their operations as of today to make sure their employees and customers are safe during this Corvid19 virus.
