The world's gone daff.....

A month ago, we couldn't possibly have imagined how life would be now.

'Self isolation', 'social distancing', 'lockdown'.....we had no idea what all that meant.

And oh, the emotions this awful virus has ignited....

utter guilt, at walking home with a 4 pack of Andrex under your arm;

sheer exhilaration, at finding a shop with a bashed bag of self-raising still on the shelf;

disgust, at someone who tells you they have two boxes of paracetamol at home;

sadness, that people are losing jobs and businesses;

hope, that once it's all over, we've become a little less avaricious, and a little more tolerant.....


Look after yourselves and each other (without touching).....and think of my friend Gillian, who has a bag of rude pasta in her cupboard, and has decided she'd rather starve her children, than have them ask awkward questions about knob-shaped noodles!!!!!!
